STUDY ON THE FACTORS AFFECTING THE PARTICIPATING INTENTION OF VOLUNTARY SOCIAL INSURANCE OF EMPLOYEES IN THACH THAT, HANOI
Abstract
The primary purpose of this paper is to determine the influencing factorsand mesure the impact of each factor on labour's participating intention of social
insurance in Thach That district, Hanoi. To conduct the research, the authors use
both the Theory of Planned Behaviour and the Technology Acceptance Model,
conduct an in-depth interview on 9 customers to build the research model, and
survey 243 temporary employees in the study area. The research finds that there
are sufficient grounds to conclude 4 out of six proposed factors affecting the
labour's participating intention of voluntary social insurance in Thach That
district, Hanoi. The most influential factor is "Understanding of voluntary social
insurance", followed by "Media", "Awareness of the benefits of voluntary social
insurance" and "Income". Based on the results, the authors propose some
recommendations to encourage temporary employees in the area to participate
in voluntary social insurance.
