Abstract

Recently, grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems can perform many
functions such as controlling power adjustment to optimize and ensure system
reliability, especially when solar power is rapidly developing and playing an
important role in ensuring energy security. To clearly show the importance of
power control in solar power systems, this paper presents the results of research
on the ability to control the real power and the reactive power of solar power
system when the grid operates in a normal state and when short-circuit fault
occurs. The simulation process was performed on PSCAD/EMTDC software. The
results have shown the ability to control the power of the system.
