Abstract

The research on the method of hydrodynamic heteroadagulation for water
purification from solid microparticles of 0.8 - 10 microns, and a concentration of 0.02
- 2.0% was developed. Method completely based on hydrophobic interactions and
mathematical model describing of droplets heteroadagulation was created. Cleaning
from microparticles and droplets occurs on the 93 - 98% for 5 - 20 minutes. The
method has been used for the purification of water from various liquid and solid
microparticles. The applications of this method have expanded considerably in recent
years, especially when designing the system into a continuous process. This method
becomes a water treatment technique, which combines the adsorption processes
with coagulation for liquid-liquid-solid system. This opens up new features of the
process, demanding the need of further investigation.
