RESEARCH FOR THE PRODUCTION OF HERBAL LIPSTICAL PRODUCTS CONTAINING COLOR BETACYANIN FROM PEELS OF DRAGON FRUIT

Abstract

Nowadays, people tend to use natural products. Searching for lip balms
derived from natural products with suitable characteristics for Vietnamese
consumers, the current research investigated and established a stable ratio of
ingredients for 6 lip balms. They include beeswax 6.5g, emulsifying wax 2.5g,
soy wax 3g, shea butter 1.5g, oil coconut 3g, avocado oil 3g, olive oil 6g, almond
oil 6g, pigment 0.2g and vitamin E 0.1g, wax’s melting point is 80oC,
homogenization time is 15 minutes. After that, the mixture is solidified at 10oC to
form a non- lead containing and natural colored material.
