THE IMPACT OF INDUSTRIAL PARKS AND ENTERPRISES ON THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THAI BINH PROVINCE

Abstract

The development of Industrial Parks in localities across the country over the past 20 years has
had a positive impact on socio-economic development. Industrial zones in Thai Binh are
indispensable requirements of the socio-economic development of this province. The article analyzes
the impact of industrial parks and industrial clusters on the development of businesses in Thai Binh
province. Industrial zones have made increasing contributions to increasing the proportion of
industrial production value in the GDP of Thai Binh province. theoretical issues about IZs such as
Concepts, characteristics, roles and impacts of IZs on the socio-economic sustainable development in
terms of economy, society and environment. Since then, the research answers the research question:
What is the scientific basis for the development of industrial zones? By processing data and drawing
results and comments, the research team has presented the problems posed from these situations.
Since then, the study answers 2 research questions: (1) How is the current status of the development
of industrial zones in Thai Binh province and (2) the development of industrial zones in Thai Binh
province has a positive impact. What are the negative impacts on socio-economic development, what
are the causes of the negative impacts?
