Abstract

This paper presents a method to determine the control parameters in the
converter of a wind generator using doubly fed induction generator (DFIG), the
goal is to ensure that the electric machine always works stably to improve
working efficiency. Based on the mathematical model of the DFIG in the dq
reference frame. The paper proceeds to build the control structure and to apply
chemical reaction optimization algorithm (CRO) to search optimal parameters for
PI controller. The simulation results shown that the wind turbine can operate at
its optimum energy for a wide range of wind speed, the output signal always
follows the set signal, the operating characteristics of DFIG to improve the
transient operation.
