FACTORS AFFECTING THE VIET NAM CONTAINER PORT PERFORMANCE

Abstract

Container port performance is an important measure of the competitiveness of the container port. Therefore, the objective of the study is to identify the key factors affecting the port's container terminal operating efficiency so that helps ports enhance their competitiveness. With a combined qualitative methods with quantitative, using 5-point Likert scale. The study results showed that five factors port infrastructure, port location, land accessibility, port dynamics, Logistics integration and terminal organization affect extraction efficiency port which enables the container terminal business enterprises have policies and decisions to improve competitiveness.
