The current situation of the contents of child abuse prevention skill education for kindergarten in Quang Ninh province

Abstract

This paper presents research results on the actual situation of educating abuse prevention skills at kindergartens, including providing children with the knowledge of preventing and identifying risks of abuse, abuse prevention skills, and handling situation skills when being abused. Results of the study showed that these educational contents had not been implemented at kindergartens. From the findings of the study, we suggest raising awareness of child abuse and fostering skills in organizing child abuse prevention activities for preschool teachers.
