Proposing graphs to determine the force in the bolts and the moment in the annular base plate for the tube column of billboards

Bài báo này trình bày tóm tắtlý thuyết tính toán chân cột ống (gồm có:bu lông,bản đế hình khuyên và sườn gia cường) theo quy định trong ASCE/SEI 48-11 của Mỹ. Trên cơ sở đó, xây dựng các bước tính toán một số bộ phận của chân cột, đối với trường hợp tiếp xúc và không tiếp xúc giữa bản đế với mặt móng, xây dựng đoạn bảng tính bằng phần mềm Excel, kiểm chứng độ tin cậy của bảng tính trên cơ sở ví dụ tính có trong ASCE/SEI 48-11, kết quả kiểm chứng cho thấy sai khác kết của tính theo bảng tính và kết quả của ví dụ sai khác không nhiều, chứng tỏ bảng tính có đủ tin cậy. Đồng thời, đề xuất việc lựa chọn đường kính lỗ khoét ở bản đế và các đồ thị quan hệ giữa nội lực chân cột với lực kéo trong bu lông và với mô men uốn trong bản đế, để áp dụng trong tính toán thực hành.

Abstract

This paper presents a summary of the design theory of pipe column bases (including: bolts, annular base plates and stiffeners) as specified in ASCE/SEI 48-11. On that basis, developing steps to design some parts of the column base; for the contact and non-contact case between the base plate and the foundation surface, building a spreadsheet using Excel software, verifying the reliability of the spreadsheet based on the calculation example contained in ASCE/SEI 48- 11; the verification results show that the difference between the results of the calculation according to the spreadsheet and the results of the example is not much different, proving that the spreadsheet is reliable. At the same time, it is proposed to choose the hole diameter in the base plate and the graphs of the relationship between the internal force of the column base with the tensile force in the bolt and with the bending moment in the base plate, to apply in practical calculations.
