On March 17, 2025, General Secretary To Lam published the article "Private economic development - A lever for a prosperous Vietnam" in which he emphasized: If in the early stages of renovation, the private economy only played a secondary role, the economy mainly relied on the state sector and foreign direct investment (FDI), then in the past two decades, the private economic sector has grown strongly, becoming one of the leading important pillars of the economy and increasingly showing itself to be the most important driving force for promoting national economic growth. Promoting driving forces to unlock resources in the new era of development

Driving force and development resources have a close relationship; driving force promotes the effective mobilization, allocation, and use of resources. Without generating driving force, there can be no resources for national development. This article clarifies the approach to promoting the driving force to unlock resources for development, highlights some achievements of Vietnam over nearly 40 years of promoting such driving force from the launch of national renovation to unlock resources for national development, and proposes some solutions for enhancing driving forces to unlock resources in the new era of development.

The Great Victory of Spring 1975 was the great victory of the Vietnamese people in the 20th century. It was the victory of the aspiration for peace, independence, freedom, and national reunification; it was the pinnacle of the crystallization of the patriotic tradition and the strength of great national unity in the Ho Chi Minh era; and a significant contribution to the global people’s struggle for peace, national independence, democracy, and social progress. Half a century has passed, but the spirit of the Great Victory of Spring 1975 remains a driving force for our entire Party, people and military to uphold the patriotic tradition, the strength of great national unity, comprehensively and synchronously promote the renovation process to realize the aspiration of building a prosperous, civilized and happy Vietnam.

Humanistic values in Ho Chi Minh’s thought on democracy

The humanistic values in Ho Chi Minh’s thought on democracy are clearly shown in the principle: "The people are the masters, and the people act as masters". Ho Chi Minh identified the people as the center; all power belongs to the people and serves the people. This is demonstrated through Ho Chi Minh's tireless struggle for national independence and his efforts to create the conditions for the people to truly participate in the decision-making and social management. The humanistic values in Ho Chi Minh’s thought on democracy serves as the compass for the cause of renovation and development of the country, both now and in the future.

Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics: 75 years of solid progress and development

In 1949, during a new phase in the Vietnamese people's resistance war and nation-building efforts, the enhancement of political theoretical education for the cadre force, especially high-ranking officials, became extremely necessary. In this context, at the 4th Conference of the Central Executive Committee (1st tenure) in January 1949, the Party decided to establish a system of Party schools at various levels, marking the founding of the Nguyen Ai Quoc Party School, the predecessor of today's Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

Communist Party of Vietnam - the sole political party leading the state and society, no political force can replace it

In recent times, hostile and reactionary forces, along with political opportunists, have exploited the development of the internet and social networks to increase their activities aimed at denying the leadership role of the Party and sabotage the Vietnamese revolution. They are falselyclaiming that the Communist Party of Vietnam has exhausted its historical role and is no longer capable of leading the State and society. These are reactionary, erroneous views without theoretical or practical basis. This article contributes to identifying and countering erroneous and hostile views that deny the Party's leadership role; affirming that the Communist Party of Vietnam is the sole political party leading the State and society, and that no political force can replace it.

Ensuring women’s rights in the family according to Ho Chi Minh’s thought in the new era of national development

Ho Chi Minh’s thought on human rights, including women’s rights, is of timeless value and makes an important contribution to the formation and theoretical development of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
