Abstract

     By assessing the relationship between the geomorphological process and soil process and comprehensive assessment of natural conditions at the basement of Ba Vi mountainous area, the study has indentified suitable areas for developing red flesh dragon fruit cv. Long Dinh No.1. The obtained results showed that five soil – geomorphology landscape units covering a total area up to 6,645.3 ha are suitable for planting cv. Long Dinh No.1, accounting for 33,32% of the total natural area in Ba Vi district, of which, the most suitable area occupied 5,691 ha (CQ20, CQ22, CQ23, CQ26).
