Abstract

ZIF-94 was successfully synthesized from zinc chloride at atmospheric pressure. The factors affecting the synthesis of ZIF-94 were studied in detail.

Using X-ray diffraction (XRD) to evaluate the crystallization process of nano-ZIF-94 by changing the solvent, additives, solvent content, additives content, and linker content. The factors of temperature and reaction time were also discussed. The crystallinity, crystal size of nano-ZIF-94 formed and the yield of nano-ZIF-94 were also mentioned. This is the first paper to present the results of the synthesis of nano-ZIF-94 from zinc chloride.
