FACTORS AFFECTING THE START-UP INTENTION IN FINTECH FIELD OF STUDENTS FROM FINANCE AND BANKING FACULTY, HANOI OPEN UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to identify and evaluate the impact of factors affecting the start-up intention in the Fintech field of students from the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Hanoi Open University. In this study, descriptive statistics analysis, Cronbach’s Alpha, EFA and regression analysis were used to analyze the data collected from 1,000 respondents, the students from the Finance and Banking Faculty, Hanoi Open University. Research results show that Personality traits, Subjective standards, Feasibility perception, Experience, Confidence in technological capabilities, Start-up education environment and Access to capital have a direct and positive impact on the start-up intention in the Fintech field of students from the Finance and Banking faculty. From these research results, the authors provide the implications to help the University and the Faculty improve students’ start-up intention in the Fintech field.
