Abstract

The saying “It's no use preaching to a hungry man” has existed for a long time, this shows extremely clearly how important the Vietnamese concept of food is. In Vietnam, not only promoting traditional features, but also absorbing the quintessence of foreign cuisine. Therefore, the culinary culture of the Vietnamese people has become more and more famous, many dishes are ranked high on the list of votes in the world. One of the countries that has contributed to enriching the country's cuisine is neighboring China, which has about 1,406 km of land border, so there will certainly be a lot of interference in culinary culture. The author uses methods of contrasting, comparing, synthesizing, and finding out information to clarify the issue: how will traditional Chinese cuisine be introduced to Vietnam when it is introduced into Vietnam? Hopefully, through the comparative study of the idea of ​​filial piety in the Vu Lan festival of Vietnam and China, it can help those who are learning Chinese to better understand the similarities and differences of these two ideas.
