RESEARCH ON ACETOBACTER XYLINUMPRODUCING BACTERIAL CELLULOSE FOR THERAPEUTIC PURPOSE OF BURN WOUND TREATMENT
Abstract
65 strains of A. xylinum were isolated from 14 samplu. The strains A.xylinum BHN2 was selected for bacterial cellulose production study. The optimum medium for the strain was determined as (g/l): 20 w/v glucose; 20.0 (NH4)2SO4: 2.0; KH2PO4: 2.0; MgSO4.7H20: 2.0, coconut milk 1000 ml; pH = 5.0; S/V = 0.8.
