SETTING UP A STATE ESTIMA TOR FOR CONTROLLING THE TRAFFIC FLOW TCP/AQM

Abstract

For most of the measuring methods of traditional control theory, measuring equipments arelocated at the output of the system to measure quantities transformed from non-electrical forminto electrical one. This method helps us to define the value of parameters to be measured, but ithas limitation because it can only assess the efficiency of a movement process. That means we# can not understand the inner kinetics which is the essence of the system. The systematicproperties can be comprehended if we have a method on the basis of assessing the elementsresiding inside the system. It is obvious that there are many scientists as well as research projectsthat approach this matter in different ways. However, we suggest a new measuring methodthrough assessing and setting up sets of state estimation based on dynamic equations in thispaper. With this approach, we believe that we can apply the new measuring method in presenttelecommunications network, especially for the estimation of parameters of the complex systemwhere the traditional measuring methods are not easily or efficiently applied. Based on thismethod, we apply on TCPI AQM networks which will playa key role in meeting tomorrow'sincreasing demand for performance in Internet applications
