Abstract

In this pape,r, initial experiment results using normal and nonlinear impedance andelectrochemical, polarization methods to determine stages of corrosion process of low carbonsteel and hot-dip zinc coating in aegiceras alkaline soil (Mm) and yellowish sandstone soil conditions has been studied.According to analyses for obtained polarization curves and impedance diagram, authors hasbeen determined that, the first stage of corrosion process is an adsorption of moisture in soil1!!tothe metal surface up to critical values. Polarization and AC impedance techniques in soil' boxshowed the suited results with soil' wetness over than 5% and enough long - time forestablishing the Equilibrium potential. It's very important condition because of the corrosion ratecontrolled all process and determining method using soil box give enough believed results
