Abstract

Currently, Quang Ninh University of Technology is training more than 1,000 students, of which, 2/3 are students from other provinces and Laotian students. For all students, in order to participate in the learning process, each month they have to spend a large amount of their parents' money. Not only that, students always have the question in their mind: "What will I do after graduation and how will I do it?". Therefore, nowadays, in addition to class time, students spend the rest of their time working part-time. In addition to working part-time for income, students also want to accumulate more experience, learn more practically... And of course, part-time work has become a trend because for students, especially when living in today's competitive society, social knowledge and practical knowledge greatly affect their thinking ability as well as their ability to work after graduation. But the question is: is “part-time work for students” the best solution and what do they gain and lose when they have to both study and work? With the desire to deeply research the above issue, the group of authors chose the topic “Solution to the problem of part-time work for students of Quang Ninh University of Technology in the current period” as their research topic.
