W</em><em>ith qualitative methods, the article analyzes and assesses the growth index, average income, economic structure shift and some macroeconomic indicators; compares the results of implementation over time with the goals set out in the economic development strategy. At the same time, the article also points out the shortcomings and the reasons for not achieving the goals, based on which proposes solutions to promote economic development for the upcoming period</em><em>.</em></p> Nguyen Thi Canh Nguyen Chi Hai Huynh Ngoc Chuong Copyright (c) 2021 Revue des sciences sociales de Ho Chi Minh 2021-09-22 2021-09-22 2 1 12 25 ECONOMIC IMPACTS OF REGIONAL LINKAGE IN THE SOUTHERN CENTRAL COASTAL AREA https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/khxh-TpHCM/article/view/61419 <p><em>This study was conducted from February to October 2019 with the use of descriptive statistical methods, aggregated analysis and data comparison to interpret and propose criteria for assessing the economic impact of regional linkages in the development of coastal areas in the South Central Coast such as: Moran’s I index; economic density of GDP/km2; VA / GO ratio; situation of FDI attraction; PCI index; location quotient (LQ) and aggregate impact factor E. Through the results of the study, the article clarified some limitations in the impact of affiliate training on the process of economic development in the Central Coast region shown in: (1) the level of training links is low and the forms of association are not strong; (2) Regional linkages have not helped economic activities in the region to achieve high efficiency; (3) Regional linkages have not improved the competitiveness and the level of investment attraction of the region; (4) Regional linkages have not stimulated the development of economic sectors and fields; (5) Regional linkages have not promoted the economic spillover of the key economic region in Central Vietnam. These archaeological sites belong to prehistoric communities with the dating back to circa 4,000 - 3,000 years ago, they were discovered in the plateau red-soil nowadays provinces of Binh Phuoc (Vietnam) and Kampong Cham (Cambodia). Recently studies have new findings about the spatial of site distribution, typology and dating of the prehistoric "round villages" in this region.
