Abstract

Scenic spots, cultural-historical relics and architectural heritage within the land border regions of Vietnam not only embody distinctive cultural and historical significance but also serve as strategic assets for socio-economic advancement. Empirical investigations conducted in Lung Cu (Ha Giang), Lam Dot (Thua Thien Hue), and Nhon Hoi (An Giang) indicate that these forms of heritage exert multifaceted influences: they enhance tourism, generate employment opportunities, facilitate the expansion of border trade and services, while concurrently reinforcing community solidarity, preserving cultural identity, and elevating the spiritual well-being of the local populace. Furthermore, these scenic spots, cultural - historical relics and architectural heritage possess political and security implications, as they emerge as emblems of national sovereignty, instruments of social governance, and platforms for fostering cooperation and sustaining regional stability. The integrated promotion of economic, cultural, social, and political values derived from the heritage framework will engender a vital impetus for sustainable development within the land border regions of Vietnam.
