Thế kỷ thứ 19, vị trí độc tôn của mỹ thuật phương Tây đã vươn tới đỉnh cao nhưng từng bị lung lay trước sự xuất hiện của “kẻ lạc lồi” – mỹ thuật Nhật Bản. Quan điểm táo bạo về đề tài, bố cục và phối màu của mỹ thuật Nhật Bản đã tạo nên những ảnh hưởng sâu sắc tới quan điểm mỹ thuật của nhiều họa sĩ phương Tây thời bấy giờ. Mỹ thuật Nhật Bản đã có sự chuyển biến lớn khi thành công thốt khỏi ảnh hưởng của mỹ thuật thời phong kiến Trung Quốc lẫn chuẩn mực tôn giáo khắt khe để đạt lên tầm cao mới. Chính sự gần gũi, vẻ đẹp thẩm mỹ thực sự không chút phô trương của mỹ thuật Nhật Bản đã cuốn hút không những cá nhân bình thường mà còn thuyết phục cả những nhà phê bình khó tính nhất của thế giới. Tinh thần cầu tiến, sáng tạo và sự tiếp thu không ngừng nghỉ của các nghệ sĩ - nghệ nhân Nhật Bản đã khẳng định chỗ đứng của mỹ thuật Nhật Bản với thế giới qua làn sóng “Japonisme” trong quá khứ với các tên tuổi như Katsushika Hokusai hay Utagawa Hiroshige và ngược lại, hấp thụ các tinh hoa của mỹ thuật thế giới để tạo ra một lớp họa sĩ cận đại với tên tuổi còn mãi như Kuroda Seiki, Osamu Tezuka, Tsuguharu Fujita và Tanaka Isson.

ABSTRACT

In 19th century, the unique position of on-peak Western art had been shaken by the emergence of “the outsider” - Japanese art. Daring angle on the topic, layout and color scheme of Japanese art have created a profound influence on the artistic point of many Western artists of that time. Japanese art has achieved a major change when it successfully escaped from the influence of both feudal Chinese art and the strict religious standards to reach a new level. The very close, indeed aesthetic beauty without ostentation of Japanese art has attracted not only ordinary individuals but also convince even the most discerning critics of the world. The receptive and creative mind with a relentless acquisition of Japanese artist - artisan had gradually built its position in the world’s art through the wave of “Japonism” in the past with famous figures of Katsushika Hokusai and Utagawa Hiroshige, and in the reverse direction, it absorbed the essence of outside art to create a generation of great contemporary artists, such as Kuroda Seiki, Osamu Tezuka, Tsuguharu Fujita and Tanaka Isson.
