 Môi trường và nghệ thuật tạo hình trong điêu khắc gỗ hiện đại có mối quan hệ tương hỗ. Môi trường chính là nguồn dưỡng chất nuôi sống vạn vật trong vũ trụ, tàn phá môi trường tất sẽ đưa mọi thứ đến diệt vong. Bảo vệ môi trường, do vậy là trách nhiệm không của riêng ai. Trên bình diện điêu khắc gỗ, cần khuyến khích người nghệ sĩ tìm tòi, sáng tác theo hướng sử dụng kết hợp gỗ và các chất liệu khác. Bài viết giới thiệu những chất liệu cần kết hợp với gỗ, từ đó bàn luận về ngôn ngữ tạo hình và định hướng góc nhìn sáng tạo nghệ thuật trong tác phẩm điêu khắc kết hợp gỗ và các chất liệu khác.
ABSTRACT
ENVIRONMENT AND ITS IMPACT ON VISUAL ARTS IN MODERN WOOD SCULPTURE
There is a reciprocal relationship between environment and visual arts in modern wood sculpture. It is the environment that is the nutrition of the Earth to feed living beings. Destroying the environment will lead everything to perdition; thus, protecting the environment is everyone’s responsibility. In wood sculpture, artists need to be encouraged to create works combining wood and other materials. The article introduces the materials combined with wood; and then discusses the language of visual arts and the orientation of creative perspective in wood sculptural works combining wood and other materials.
