Cũng như Cao Đài giáo, ra đời ở Nam Kỳ vào nửa đầu thế kỷ 20, Minh Lý đạo và Phật giáo Hòa Hảo được xem là tôn giáo bản địa hay nội sinh. Kinh điển của hai tôn giáo này đều duy trì một số từ Việt cổ. Bài viết này giải thích các từ cổ ấy.

ABSTRACT

EXPLAINING SOME ARCHAIC VIETNAMESE WORDS IN THE SCRIPTURES OF MINH LÝ ĐẠO AND HÒA HẢO BUDDHISM.

Like Caodaism, which was born in Cochinchine in the first half of the 20^th century, Minh Lý đạo and Hòa Hảo Buddhism are considered as indigenous or endogenous religions. The scriptures of these two religions maintain some archaic Vietnamese words. This article explains those archaic words.
