Thừa Thiên Huế là tỉnh có giá trị đa dạng sinh học cao của khu vực miền Trung. Qua thống kê từ nhiều công trình đã công bố, nghiên cứu của chúng tôi từ trước đến nay và kết quả của đề tài khoa học công nghệ cấp tỉnh “Đánh giá hiện trạng và xây dựng cơ sở dữ liệu tài nguyên sinh vật ở tỉnh Thừa Thiên Huế”, cho thấy trên địa bàn tỉnh Thừa Thiên Huế ghi nhận được 582 loài Cá nội địa, thuộc 209 giống, 97 họ và 19 bộ. Về đặc điểm phân bố, Cá nội địa ở Thừa Thiên Huế được chia làm ba nhóm sinh thái theo thủy vực và ba nhóm sinh thái theo nguồn gốc. Trong tổng số 582 loài Cá nội địa ở Thừa Thiên Huế có 41 loài có giá trị kinh tế; 18 loài làm cảnh, diệt bọ gậy, sâu bọ; 17 loài quý hiếm được ghi vào Sách Đỏ Việt Nam (2007) với 02 loài Nguy cấp (EN), 15 loài Sẽ nguy cấp (VU) và có 12 loài đặc hữu.
ABSTRACT
COMPONENTIAL STRUCTURE OF INLAND FISH SPECIES IN THỪA THIÊN HUẾ PROVINCE 
Thừa Thiên Huế is a province with high biodiversity value in Central Vietnam. Through statistical data from numerous published research works, our research to date and the results of the provincial-level scientific and technological project "Assessment of the Actual State and Development of the Database of Biological Resources in Thừa Thiên Huế Province” show that there are 582 inland fish species, belonging to 209 genera, 97 families and 19 orders. In terms of distribution characteristics, inland fishes in Thừa Thiên Huế are divided into three ecological groups based on bodies of water and three ecological groups based on origin. Of the total 582 inland fish species in Thừa Thiên Huế, there are 41 species with economic value; 18 species are used as ornamental fish, mosquito larvae and insect eaters, 17 rare species are recorded in Vietnam Red Book (2007) with 02 endangered species (EN), 15 vulnerable species (VU) and 12 endemic species.
