Mục tiêu của việc giáo dục biển và hải đảo trong nhà trường phổ thông hiện nay là nhằm trang bị kiến thức cho học sinh về một bộ phận lãnh thổ rộng lớn của tổ quốc. Kết quả là học sinh có được ý thức trách nhiệm với biển và tài nguyên môi trường biển, biết có các hành động thích hợp để giúp mọi người chung quanh hiểu biết thêm về biển, có ý thức bảo vệ vùng biển của tổ quốc, phát triển tổng hợp vùng biển theo hướng bền vững.

Để làm được điều đó, phương pháp giáo dục tránh áp đặt một chiều, cần chú trọng nhiều vào các phương pháp giáo dục đề cao chủ thể nhận thức của học sinh.

ABSTRACT

The objectives of lessons regarding the sea and islands in the high school are to provide the students knowledge of a large part of our national territory. The targets aimed at are to build up in them a sense of reponsibility towards the sea and the relevant resources, capability to give more information to others around them about our sea and and help raise in them a sense of responsibility to protect the marine territory of the nation as well as to develop this territorial part on a sustainable basis.

To achieve those targets, our educational methods should put great emphasis on the students’ consciousness of the matter.
