VISUAL ART IN THE PAINTING "A PLOW SESSION" BY ARTIST LUU CONG NHAN

Abstract

The main motivation for artists in revolution to portrait farmers is that our national revolution's objective is firstly to liberate farmers. The renewal of farmers into collective economy is a great life-changer in the history of Vietnamese workers. Nowhere can an artist talk about the consequences of the revolution, as well as the value of the revolution in relation to tradition, to nature, to the country as in the image of a farmer. This is extremely successfully and clearly shown through the artistic language in the painting “Mot buoi cay” by artist Luu Cong Nhan. Labor is joy, the fruits of our labor bring happiness, which is one of the most successful themes expressed by painters during the revolutionary period, including Luu Cong Nhan with his work “Mot buoi cay”.
