THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY OF VIETNAM'S THEORETICAL THINKING ON LITERATURE AND ART FROM 1975 TO THE PRESENT

Since 1975, in alignment with the policy of renovation, our Party has remained steadfast in its stance and perspectives rooted in Marxism‑Leninism regarding culture and the arts. It has continued to renew its thinking, perfecting the theoretical foundations of literature and art, while more clearly defining their position, essential role, content, and characteristics within the context of a newly independent, unified nation advancing towards socialism. The Party has achieved a profound and comprehensive awareness of the necessity to build a contingent of writers and artists. To meet the new requirements and tasks of the revolutionary cause, the Party has renewed its leadership and management approach to literature and the arts ‑ maintaining firm principles while simultaneously promoting openness and flexibility in mechanisms, policies, and laws. This has established a legal foundation to unleash creative potential; ensured care, recognition, and effective utilization of talent; and encouraged intellectuals and artists to uphold their dual identity as both artists and fighters, dedicating their intellect, talent, and efforts to creating numerous literary and artistic works of high ideological and artistic value, making worthy contributions to the revolutionary cause of our country in this era of national resurgence.

THE NGAI ETHNIC COMMUNITY IN QUANG NINH PROVINCE

The Ngai ethnic group is a minority community in Vietnam, primarily residing in Quang Ninh Province. They originate from southern provinces of China such as Guangdong, Fujian, and Hainan. The Ngai people have experienced a migration history spanning several centuries, marked by four major waves corresponding with political and social upheavals in China. Linguistically, they speak languages belonging to the Sinitic group and formerly used Chinese characters in communication, administration, and religious practices. Economically, the Ngai are known for their traditional handicrafts such as ceramics, weaving, blacksmithing, coal mining, salt production, and fishing. Culturally, they possess rich customs related to clothing, housing, cuisine, and folk beliefs. Their folk performing arts are vibrant, featuring musical instruments, Peking opera, lion and dragon dances, and religious rituals deeply influenced by Taoism. The traditional cultural values of the Ngai people are a precious heritage that should be preserved and promoted in the process of building a diverse and unified Vietnamese culture.

PRESERVING AND PROMOTING THE VALUES OF THE DẺ ĐOÓNG TEMPLE FESTIVAL IN CAO BANG PROVINCE IN THE CONTEMPORARY CONTEXT

The De Doong Temple Festival is one of the typical cultural activities of the people of Hong Viet commune, Hoa An district, Cao Bang province. Along with the De Doong Temple relic site, the festival activities have preserved many good values and cultural traditions of the locality and previous generations. In the current period, under the impacts of economic, scientific and technological development, the preservation and promotion of the good traditional values of the De Doong Temple Festival also needs to have methods suitable to the reality of contemporary social life. Within the scope of the article, we propose a number of methods focusing on building and developing human resources for the work of preserving and promoting the values of festivals and relic sites; building a cultural environment; researching, restoring and maintaining the practice of traditional cultural and artistic activities; promoting tourism development; deploying and implementing tasks and solutions for managing and organizing festivals and the De Doong Temple relic site

PRESERVING AND PROMOTING TRADITIONAL CULTURAL VALUES ‑ CREATIVE METHODS IN THE INCENSE MAKING VILLAGE OF QUANG PHU CAU, UNG HOA, HANOI

In today's era, thanks to the development of science and technology, countries and nations around the world are
increasingly coming closer together, making traditional cultural heritage the center of attention. For culture to
truly become the "soul," connecting tradition and modernity requires new, effective, and innovative approaches
to preserving, conserving, and promoting the beautiful cultural values of the nation. This issue has become an
urgent concern for the entire Party, the whole people, and the community.
The article delves into the geographical location, traditional culture, and the people of the incense‑making
village of Quang Phu Cau, Ung Hoa, Hanoi. It highlights effective and practical methods for maintaining and
developing traditional crafts that are closely linked to the cultural and spiritual life of the Vietnamese people. It
affirms the correct and creative direction of the local Party committee, government, and people in preserving,
safeguarding, and promoting the traditional cultural values of the village in the face of the strong and
multifaceted impacts of globalization and international integration today.

THE ROLE OF FILM ACTORS IN SPREADING ETHNIC CULTURAL VALUES IN THE NEW ERA

Our country is vigorously implementing a comprehensive renewal process, firmly stepping into a new era, an era
of strength and prosperity. To realize this, alongside the correct leadership direction and the consensus of all
social strata, it is essential to always prioritize the preservation and promotion of the beautiful values of national
culture. Recognizing the important role of national culture in the flow of social life, in recent years, our Party and
State have always focused on enhancing the role of all levels, sectors, and all social classes, among which the
team of film actors is increasingly affirming its significant role in promoting, preserving, developing, and
spreading the values of national culture, contributing to the construction of an advanced Vietnamese culture rich
in identity in the new era.
The article delves into the basic characteristics of national culture; the role of national culture in the
comprehensive renewal of the country; thereby affirming the role of film actors in promoting national cultural
values; and proposing several highly feasible directions and tasks to enhance the role of film actors in spreading
national cultural values in the context of current globalization.

THE MASK OF STAGE꞉ THE RESEARCH COMPARE BETWEEN VIETNAM'S TUONG AND CHINA'S PEKING OPERA

Traditional stage masks reflect to the cultural and artistic characteristics of each other. It helps viewers identify
characters and their personalities when see actor. This is a part of unlimited creativity in performing arts, not
only a tool for actors. Masks had existed for a long time and have great historical value in the cultures of Vietnam
and China; research traditional stage masks will understand the cultural and artistic identity of the two nations,
while contributing to preserving and developing this art form in a modern context, maintaining the connection
between the past and the present. Using data from observation of Vietnamese Tuong performances and literature
on Chinese Peking Opera, applying the comparative research method, this study aims to identify the
characteristics of stage masks in Vietnam's Tuong and China's Peking Opera in terms of lines, colors, human
characteristics, and conventionality. The research shows the differences as identifying lines, main color tones,
and emotions of masks between Vietnam's Tuong and China's Peking Opera. This research contributes to
affirming Tuong as a traditional art form of Vietnam.

SUSTAINABILITY OF VI GIAM FOLK SONGS IN THE COMMUNITY IN THE FACE OF ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGES AND LIVELIHOOD NEEDS

Since the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage was established in 2003 in Paris, the cultural expressions of ethnic groups have not only been restored, practiced, and transmitted, but have also received the attention of the state, authorities at all levels, non‑governmental organizations, and the community. In fact, the Vi Giam folk song heritage has been able to survive over time because the community has preserved and taught it from generation to generation, from region to region. Looking back on the journey since Vi Giam folk songs were recognized by UNESCO, many great achievements have been made, but there have also been many difficulties and challenges in preserving and promoting their values in life. This reality requires a comprehensive study of the current status of Vi Giam folk songs in the community, in order to find solutions to preserve them against the impact of changes in the cultural environment and livelihood needs.

ISTINCTIVE FEATURES IN THE DECORATIVE ART OF STONE TOMBS AT TƯ THÔNG MAUSOLEUM IN HUE

Tư Thông Mausoleum is the burial site of Empress Dương Thị Thục (Tiên Cung), wife of Emperor Đồng
Khánh. The decorative system of stone carvings and relief plasterwork, featuring a variety of unique motifs
and designs, significantly contributes to the artistic value of this mausoleum. Particularly noteworthy are the
motifs and decorative styles on the stone tombs, which are not found in other mausoleums of the Nguyễn
Dynasty. These elements display elaborate and intricate stone carving techniques. This article focuses on the
distinctive and unique decorative features of the stone tombs and explores their potential application in
teaching traditional Vietnamese heritage recording to students.

THE EAST‑WEST INTERPLAY IN THE DECORATIVE ART IN IMPERIAL ARCHITECTURE

From 1802 to 1945, the Nguyen dynasty constructed numerous works in the ancient capital of Hue to serve the aristocracy, which are now considered invaluable national and global heritage. Closely intertwined with architecture is the decorative art. Existing in a period of political and historical ups and downs, the decorative art of Hue's imperial architecture, while bearing the local spirit and reflecting deep Eastern cultural values. Using field methods, document research and interdisciplinary methods, this article focuses on pointing out Eastern aesthetic elements and Western aesthetic elements in the decorative art of Hue royal architecture. Thereby, showing the unique beauty of royal architecture in Hue in the flow of Vietnamese art.

This article examines the literary historiography concepts and research methodologies of two prominent Southern Vietnamese scholars during the 1954 ‑ 1975 period꞉ Thanh Lãng and Phạm Thế Ngũ. By comparing their works with those from the North during the same period, the paper highlights the distinctive Southern scholarly approach, which leans toward scientific, objective methods and a focus on the historical and specific nature of literary phenomena ‑ rather than absolutizing socio‑political ideologies. This study contributes to the understanding of modern Vietnamese literary thought and suggests theoretical foundations that can inform contemporary literary historiography research.

This paper investigates the New Poetry Movement in Vietnam (1932‑1945) through the theoretical framework of landscape criticism, with a particular emphasis on the sea as a complex spatial and symbolic entity. By examining selected poetic works from prominent figures such as Xuân Diệu, Hàn Mặc Tử, and Phạm Huy Thông, the study explores how the natural landscape ‑ specifically the sea ‑ is internalized and reimagined through the lens of the lyrical self. The sea is presented not only as a physical setting but also as an emotional and existential metaphor that mirrors the psychological landscapes of a generation of poets grappling with modernity, alienation, and identity.

THE TRAINING OF ĐỜN CA TÀI TỬ꞉ FROM PRACTICAL REALITIES TO STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT ORIENTATION

Đờn ca tài tử (Southern Amateur Music) is a distinctive genre of traditional Vietnamese music that originated in the southern region in the late 19th century. Deeply rooted in the cultural and emotional life of the southern people, this art form has affirmed its position and value in the spiritual life of the Vietnamese, especially in the southern provinces. However, in recent years, đờn ca tài tử has faced significant challenges due to the growing dominance of modern entertainment forms, a shrinking audience base, and a serious shortage of trained performers, particularly within military art troupes in the South. Compounding this issue is the discontinuation of đờn ca tài tử programs at arts and culture institutions in Ho Chi Minh City due to a lack of applicants. These realities highlight the urgent need for strategic orientations to preserve and develop this unique cultural heritage. This paper examines the current state of đờn ca tài tử training and proposes directions for the sustainable development of human resources, with particular emphasis on military art troupes in the southern provinces.

APPROACHING LITERARY WORKS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF GENRE INTERFERENCE IN CONTEMPORARY LITERATURE

Traditional music plays an important role in educating patriotic qualities for high school students. The study aims to evaluate the current status of traditional music education management at Nguyen Binh Khiem High School in the direction of developing patriotic qualities. Using theoretical research methods, questionnaire surveys, practical observations and data analysis using SPSS, the results show that management work still has many limitations, especially in the stages of building goals, teaching content, organization forms and assessment. On that basis, the study proposes solutions, contributing to providing scientific and practical arguments to improve the effectiveness of traditional music education management in high schools today.

ORGANIZING THEORETICAL TRAINING ON HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT FOR ADMINISTRATORS OF UNIVERSITIES SPECIALIZING IN TEACHER EDUCATION IN THE ARTS

The article proposes solutions for organizing theoretical training on human resource management for administrators at universities specializing in training art teachers. The main objective is to enhance management capacity, strategic thinking, and the effectiveness of staff leadership in the context of art education, which possesses unique characteristics and is undergoing significant reform. The research methodology combines document analysis and practical surveys to clarify the current state of training activities and identify the specific needs of the administrative staff. The results indicate that the need for theoretical training in human resource management in art teacher training institutions is urgent, yet such training has not been systematically organized or tailored to the unique features of the field. The article proposes both the content and implementation methods of the training program. Furthermore, the author emphasizes that organizing training in a flexible, practical manner, aligned with the specific needs of each institution, will contribute to improving management quality and, consequently, enhance the development of human resources and the quality of art teacher education in the future.

TRENDS IN APPLYING UI AND UX IN TEACHING COMMERCIAL PRODUCT PACKAGING DESIGN

This paper analyzes the emerging trend of applying UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) in the teaching of commercial product packaging design‑an area increasingly demanding a balance between aesthetics and usability. Through practice‑based research and content analysis methods, the study highlights the role of UI/UX in helping students develop user‑centered design thinking, aiming for optimal user experiences and intuitive, accessible interfaces. The findings indicate that integrating UI/UX principles not only enhances the visual quality of packaging designs but also improves clarity in information delivery, interactivity, and evokes positive emotional responses from consumers. In addition, the paper proposes the incorporation of modern teaching methods into the educational process, such as the use of digital design tools, real‑world simulations, and practical design scenarios. These recommendations aim to improve the effectiveness of design education, enabling students to engage with theoretical knowledge in a dynamic way while also building flexible, applicable skills for a rapidly evolving commercial design environment shaped by technological advancements and shifting user demands.

FACTORS INFLUENCING THE LEARNING OF ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES OF THE STUDENT AT ACADEMY OF FINANCE

For both teachers and students, teaching and studying English for Specific Purposes (ESP) has become essential in the majority of academic subjects. The goal of the current study is to identify frequent characteristics that impact AOF students learning ESP and offered methods to address issues that reduce the subject's efficacy. A combination of student surveys and interviews. The results show that the course's goals are to improve students' ESP vocabulary ability, students' strong proficiency in vocabulary and grammar, teachers' good teaching competence, and its coursebook providing relatively sufficient and relevant ESP learning. However, the findings show that a number of factors, including those related to students, teachers, and the university itself, have a detrimental impact on ESP learning at the university. Additionally, the results have provided insight into some possible ways to address issues that both teachers and students have faced during the learning process.

STUDY ON KEY FACTORS INFLUENCING ENGLISH SPEAKING SKILL AMONG STUDENTS AT NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARTS EDUCATION

English Speaking skill is one of the most difficult skills for students at National University of Arts Education because of factors such as limited vocabulary, pronunciation accuracy, anxiety, lack of confidence, lack of motivation, and ineffective teaching methods. These factors often contribute to weak language abilities and performance. This article aims to investigate the factors affecting Vietnamese students, especially those at National University of Arts Education, when practicing speaking skills. The results demonstrate that students often fear making mistakes or being judged poorly, tend to feel stressed and anxious, lack confidence in presentations or discussions, and sometimes feel confused with their ideas. This article also gives recommendations and suggestions to improve the quality of teaching and learning speaking skill for students at National University of Arts Education.
