This study focuses on innovating teaching methods for Primary Education students at Hai Phong University. Current practices indicate that many teacher training institutions still rely predominantly on traditional teaching methods, emphasizing written and oral assessments, with limited formative evaluation, practical activities, and experiential learning. Such approaches restrict students’ creativity, critical thinking, and their ability to apply knowledge effectively in real-life contexts. This paper proposes a series of solutions including integrating traditional and modern teaching methods, increasing the use of digital technologies, organizing cooperative group learning, and innovating assessment through continuous evaluation and well-defined criteria for learning outcomes. The study affirms that this comprehensive and synchronized innovation is essential to enhancing the quality of teacher education, equipping Primary Education students with the holistic competencies required to meet professional demands in the context of general education reform.
Nguyen Thi Hien, Luu Thi Lan Copyright (c) https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/tckh-dhHaiPhong-eng/article/view/121449 Fri, 31 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0700 SOME PEDAGOGICAL APPROACHES FOR IMPROVING THE PRONUNCIATION OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN AGED 5-6 THROUGH USING LEARNING GAMES https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/tckh-dhHaiPhong-eng/article/view/121447
Accurate pronunciation is a key factor in the process of language development, contributing to the formation of effective communication skills and helping children acquire knowledge at the next educational stage. At the age of 5-6, children are at the stage of completing their language development and preparing for entry into primary school. Therefore, the practice of correct pronunciation is not only important for daily communication but also establishes a crucial foundation for learning, particularly reading and writing skills. Based on the psychological and cognitive characteristics of preschool children, this study aims to propose and experiment with several pedagogical measures for pronunciation practice through learning games. This approach aligns with children’s natural tendency to “learn through play,” simultaneously stimulating interest and enabling them to practice pronunciation in a natural, enjoyable, and effective way. Initial experimental results indicate that learning games not only enhance children’s motivation for participate in language activities but also significantly improve the pronunciation abilities of 5- 6-year-olds. The study contributes to affirming the role of integrating games into language education while providing practical implications for preschool teachers in organizing pronunciation practice, thereby improving the quality of school readiness for children before entering primary education.
Vu Thi Huong Giang, Pham Thu Thuy Copyright (c) https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/tckh-dhHaiPhong-eng/article/view/121447 Fri, 31 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0700 THE IMPACTS OF NEW GENERATION OF FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT (FDI) ATTRACTION IN VIETNAM https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/tckh-dhHaiPhong-eng/article/view/121450
This study employs the gravity model, panel data set between Vietnam and its main trading partners who are members of CPTPP and EVFTA in the 2010 - 2023 period, OLS estimation technique, STATA software and the stationarity consideration of the panel data, heteroscedasticity, and eliminating multicollinearity using VIF to examine the possible impacts of the CPTPP and EVFTA on international trade and FDI attraction in Vietnam. The results indicate that most CE stages have positive effects on EP, with the exception of the resource extraction stage, which shows no significant impact. Notably, sustainable consumption exerts a negative influence. Capital sufficiency, used as a control variable, also contributes positively. These findings highlight the uneven impact of CE implementation across stages and emphasize the need for more tailored, contextspecific policy strategies for small and medium-sized enterprises in Vietnam.
Nguyen Thi Huong, Le Thi Bich Van Copyright (c) https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/tckh-dhHaiPhong-eng/article/view/121455 Fri, 31 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0700 A STUDY ON THE IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA USAGE ON THE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF STUDENTS IN THE FACULTY OF TOURISM AT HAI PHONG UNIVERSITY https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/tckh-dhHaiPhong-eng/article/view/121456
Through the study, the authors analyzed the impact of social media use on undergraduates’ academic performance in the Faculty of Tourism at Hai Phong University. The research focuses on the relationship between students’ usage habits, purposes of access and the role of social media platforms in either supporting or hindering students’ learning activities. The research findings confirm that social media has become an inseparable part of students’ daily lives, serving both academic needs and entertainment purposes, as well as other personal interests of users. While uncontrolled use tends to undermine time management ability and learning efficiency, purposeful use fosters opportunities for knowledge sharing, collaborative problemsolving and access to abundant academic resources. By highlighting both the benefits and drawbacks, the study underscores the dual nature of social media in higher education. Especially, the study complements new empirical evidence within the specific context of tourism students, a group that requires strong technological and communication competencies. This research not only reaffirms the bidirectional impact of social media on learning but also points out the distinctive characteristics of Tourism students.
Tran Kim Yen, Pham Thi Thanh Copyright (c) https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/tckh-dhHaiPhong-eng/article/view/121456 Fri, 31 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0700 POLITICAL PARTICIPATION OF WOMEN IN HAI PHONG: BARRIERS AND SOLUTIONS https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/tckh-dhHaiPhong-eng/article/view/121457
Women’s participation in political and social activities has long been a central concern across nations worldwide. In Vietnam, women are considered an essential driving force behind the country’s comprehensive development. However, in practice, the role of women within political and social organizations has not been fully recognized, as they continue to face prejudice, public scrutiny, and gender-based discrimination. In this paper, the author employs research methods such as questionnaire surveys, document analysis, and in-depth interviews to examine the real extent of women’s participation in political and social activities in Hai Phong City. The study identifies underlying causes and challenges, thereby proposing practical solutions aimed at enhancing the role of women in political and social organizations in Hai Phong in particular, and in Vietnam in general.
Nguyen Van Minh Copyright (c) https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/tckh-dhHaiPhong-eng/article/view/121457 Fri, 31 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0700 GREEN BONDS TO FINANCE INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT: INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND IMPLICATIONS FOR IMPLEMENTATION IN VIETNAM https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/tckh-dhHaiPhong-eng/article/view/121467
As Vietnam confronts rapid urbanization and mounting environmental pressures, traditional public funding and bank lending fall short of financing the estimated USD 480 billion needed for sustainable infrastructure by 2030. However, many first-year students often face challenges in generating ideas, organizing their writing, and maintaining motivation. In the context of digital transformation in education, online tools such as Linoit have emerged as promising solutions for enhancing collaborative and interactive learning. This study investigated the application of Linoit in teaching writing skills to first-year students at Hai Phong University as a part of the General English course. A mixed-method approach was employed, including classroom observations, student surveys, teacher interviews, and analysis of students’ written assignments. The findings indicate that Linoit fosters student engagement, encourages idea sharing, and improves the organization of written texts. Students reported increased confidence in their writing and described the learning process as more enjoyable. Nevertheless, challenges such as limited digital literacy and unstable internet connections were also noted. The study concludes that Linoit can be an effective tool for teaching, provides that teachers and students receive adequate training. It recommends integrating digital tools into the formal curriculum of General English course and conducting further research on other AI tools in language learning.
Nguyen Thi Phuong Loan Copyright (c) https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/tckh-dhHaiPhong-eng/article/view/121468 Fri, 31 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0700 A NEW HYBRID GRADIENT PROJECTION METHOD FOR THE PSEUDOMONOTONE VARIATIONAL INEQUALITY AND FIXED POINT PROBLEM IN BANACH SPACE https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/tckh-dhHaiPhong-eng/article/view/121469
It is known that the variational inequality problem is an extension of the nonlinear compensation problem. It includes convex optimization problems, game theory, Kakutani fixed-point problems, polynomial and tensor variational inequalities, and direct applications in many fields such as operations research, Nash-Counot equilibrium model, and transportation. Methods for solving variational inequalities and fixed points problems have received much attention. However, most of recent methods for solving variational inequalities and fixed points problems require the monotone and Lipschitz continuous or inversestrongly monotone assumptions of the cost mapping. Algorithms are mainly built on finite dimensional spaces or Hilbert spaces. In this paper, we propose a new hybrid gradient projection method to find a common element of the solution set of pseudo-monotone, Lipschitz continuous variational inequality problem with the fixed point set of relatively weak non-expansion mapping in Banach spaces. With the given assumptions, we obtain a strong convergence theorem of the algorithm.
Do Duy Thanh, Dang Minh An, Pham Thi Gam Copyright (c) https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/tckh-dhHaiPhong-eng/article/view/121469 Fri, 31 Oct 2025 00:00:00 +0700
