WETLAND PROTECTION FOR VIETNAM'S SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Vietnam is a country with large high-value wetlands, currently there are 9 internationally recognized Ramsar sites. The article aims to clarify the role of wetlands in sustainable development and the current situation of wetland protection in Vietnam, and to propose some basic solutions to better protect these wetlands for sustainable development, so that future generations of Vietnamese descendants will continue to benefit from these wetlands
