STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF STORAGE METHODS ON QUALITY OF RICE GRAINS

Abstract
The experiment was carried out to find out the most optimal storage method to ensure the quality of rice grains during post-harvest storage. The experiment was arranged in 4 treatments in a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 replications, including treatments using PP and PE bags in combination with different moisture levels. Experimental results show that using PP+PE bags at 12,5% moisture is the best compared to the other treatments on rice quality and aroma of rice grains during post-harvest storage
