Abstract

Under the impacts of many factors, the state at present has to reconcile different methods of administration towards a democratic and rule of law state, serving the goal of fast and sustainable development of each country. Either good governance or developmental state aims at achieving that goal. Having some overlapping, the models of good governance and developmental state have some differences, they are closely related but not identical. Thus, applying these two models in practice has become a dicernible requirement in the context of transitional economy of Vietnam at present.
