FEATURES OF THE ASEAN COMMUNITY COOPERATION MECHANISM

Abstract

On the basis of the general analysis of the context of forming ASEAN Community, the paper identifies and analyses the most noticeable features of the ASEAN Community cooperation mechanism reflected in: 1) association model, 2) “unity in diversity” and development directions, 3) organisational machine, 4), modes to make decisions, 5) development gaps between member states and 6)ASEAN Community law.
