Abstract
The practice of Vietnam suggests that the functions and duties of the Party inspection commissions and those of the State inspectorates are quite similar. Approaching the issue in question from the system theory perspective, the Vietnam’s practice as well as the international experiences in regard to functionings of the Party inspection commissions, the paper proposes to merger the Party inspection commissions and the State inspectorates in order to avoid the overlappings, to shrink the machinery and to enhance the operation effectiveness of those bodies.
