Abstract
The paper discusses the common perception of competence and requirements for training oriented by the leaner’s competence-based approach. It also analyses requirements for developing the higher education curriculum and methods for assessing student learning outcomes oriented by the competence-based approach. The paper then suggests some tasks that Hanoi Law University should perfom if the University training is reformed with the competence-based approach orientation.
