Role of social organisations in state governance at present

  • Nguyễn Văn Quân

Abstract

The state governance today has profound changes in both the theoretical and practical perspectives. These changes are intended to accommodate the fast and varied dynamics of the contemporary world. One of the most fundamental transformative tendencies of contemporary state governance is corporate governance, with the cooperation of multi-stakeholder in management, and shared responsibility rather than governance. The role of social organisations in state governance like directly performing state functions, participating in law and policy making and promoting accountability and transparency of the government has been increasingly active. This trend also reflects the profound transformation of the state in terms of the function and role of the state in social life.
