Research objects of comparative criminal law
Abstract
The paper generally introduces and analyses research objects of comparative criminal law. It points out the groups of identified research objects of comparative criminal law including: criminal law ideas for establishing the foundation and features of criminal law systems; fundamental theories of criminal law in the world; criminal law systems of the countries representing typical law traditions; common institutions of national criminal law; legal provisions on groups of specific crimes under the national criminal law; and the common and global model of criminal law in the world. Besides it, the paper offers a deep analysis of theoretical and practical isssues on some fundamental theories and doctrines from the comparative criminal law perspective to highlight the particularity and uniqueness of this research area.
