Financial support for the recovery and development of the aviation industry - Some comments from a legal perspective

Abstract

At the beginning of 2020, the global COVID-19 pandemic disrupted many economic sectors in both domestic and foreign scope, in which the aviation industry was one of the hardest-hit industries. However, given the position of the aviation industry, there is an urgent need to promptly restore the industry's ability to operate with specific support. This paper discusses the financial support for the aviation industry and considers it from a legal perspective. The paper includes four major contents as following: The difference of the aviation industry in the economy; details of financial support; internal difficulties of the financial support sector and regulatory issues; some legal suggestions on financial support for the aviation industry.
