Abstract
The theory of surplus value is the core of K. Marx's entire system of economic theory, presented in a comprehensive and extensive manner in "Capital". This article analyzes the contemporary nature of the theory of surplus value in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and on that basis, provides scientific arguments to further refine the Party's theoretical thinking on the development of a socialist-oriented market economy in Vietnam.
