China - Russia comprehensive strategic partnership in the trade sector during the period 2012-2024

Abstract

Bilateral trade between China and Russia in the period 2012-2024 has shown stable growth and high strategic complementarity. This growth is driven by bilateral agreements, cooperation in energy and agricultural projects, and the use of national currencies in transactions. This article analyzes the outstanding results of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Russia in the trade sector during the period 2021-2024; thereby, commenting on the China - Russia relationship in this area.
