This study explores the vital role of self-learning and the development of self-learning skills among university students, particularly in credit-based education systems. Focusing on the context of English language self-learning for D19 students at Electric Power University, the research highlights the challenges students commonly face during this process. The findings emphasize the significance of self-learning in academic success, intellectual engagement, and character development. The study concludes by proposing effective strategies to enhance English language self-learning for optimal student outcomes.
