Abstract

In this article, we propose a design of a 4-degree-of-freedom robotic arm control system using
ESP32. The robotic arm system is remotely controlled according to the design by holding, releasing and
moving the robotic arm up and down, left and right along with other operations. The design includes
an embedded system based on IoT and an application software designed on the website with 4 control
panels corresponding to the control of 4 servo motors with amplitudes ranging from 0 to 180 degrees in
both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. Robot arm uses ultrasonic sensors to move precisely and
avoid collisions. Tests conducted based on many scenarios have proven the feasibility and stability of the
wireless control system using software designed to be installed on mobile devices such as phones, tablets
or computers such as laptops, personal computers.
