ABSTRACT
In detention facilities, executing prison sentences under normal conditions has been very difficult and
strenuous, under pressure from many angles and activities in detention facilities became more difficult
and impacted when the Covid-19 Pandemic broke out. The assessment of the influencing factors, causes,
capabilities and risks and difficulties if an epidemic occurs in prisons, to take effective and timely response
measures is a practical and urgent matter. The article summarizes initial results in the prevention of the
Covid-19 epidemic in detention facilities and recommends more effective solutions to minimize the impact
and risk of disease spread in detention facilities.
