ABSTRACT
Teacher quality is an urgent requirement in the period of fundamental and comprehensive innovation of
education and training. Management according to standards to ensure quality is a modern method, a common
trend of the World today. Vietnam has caught up with that general trend. In 2018, the Ministry of Education
and Training issued Circular 20/2018/TT-BGDDT stipulating professional standards for teachers of high
education institutions and Circular 26/2018/TT-BGDDT stipulating professional standards for preschool
teachers. However, managing the quality of teachers in public preschools in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City
still has many shortcomings. From the basis of theoretical and practical research, the article proposes some
measures of managing the quality of teachers in public preschools in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City to contribute
to enhancing the quality of teachers and improving the quality of teachers amount of early childhood education.
