NEEDS ANALYSIS OF ENGLISH LEARNING FOR TOURISM STUDENTS AT HALONG UNIVERSITY

ABSTRACT
The importance of English can be not denied and still become familiar with every corner of the world.
With the help of advanced technology, English has been playing a major role in many different sectors
including medicine engineering and education, which, from my point of view, is the most important area
in which English is needed. As a result of these, English should be the medium of instruction at schools or
university in order to, for example help learners find a high-quality job, communicate with international
world, and access scientific sources in the students’ major field. As being English teachers, it is better to
motivate and improve student’s language skills, not only to get higher score in school environment but also
to enhance their language competency, especially in their working situation later.
