Abstract

Listening comprehension is one of the most fundamental and important skills in the process of learning foreign languages in general and French in particular. It acts as a bridge, helping you connect with the language naturally and comprehensively. Listening comprehension is not only a separate skill but also the foundation for your success in learning foreign languages. When you listen well, you will feel more confident, more interested and achieve better results in the learning process. Good listening comprehension helps you understand what others mean, respond faster in conversations and confidently express yourself. But in reality, students of the French department at Hanoi National University of Education encounter many difficulties when practicing Listening in class, especially at a high level according to the European standard framework.
