Abstract: Vo Nguyen Giap is one of the legends of 20th-century Vietnamese history. His military philosophies, lifestyle, working style, and the entirety of his life have made a significant contribution to the national liberation and the development of the country. These philosophies have profound significance in the intellectual and philosophical development of contemporary Vietnam. Therefore, in this article, the author focuses on clarifying the fundamental aspects of Võ Nguyên Giáp's military wisdom to affirm the development of Vietnamese thought based on the inheritance of the nation's essence and the world's humanistic achievements, while also deepening our admiration and respect for the historically wise and correct decisions made by the eldest brother of the Vietnam People’s Army
