Abstract: The article explores the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam toward the young generation in the current context. It affirms that youth is a major social force, decisive to the nation’s future, based on the thoughts of President Ho Chi Minh, Marx, Lenin, and leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam. The paper analyzes the theoretical foundation of youth work from the viewpoints of Marx and Lenin on succession and the lifelong learning mission of youth, together with Ho Chi Minh’s perspective that young people are the “pillar of the nation,” the “reserve force,” and the “trusted arm” of the Party. It also presents the Party’s and State’s policies through Resolutions, the 2020 Youth Law, and the Vietnam Youth Development Strategy for 2021–2030, highlighting the shift from “strengthening leadership” to “promoting youth as active agents” and equipping them with the competencies of the era.

Keywords: Communist Party of Vietnam; Youth affairs; Leadership; Young generation; Digital transformation.
Nghiên cứu triết học Tạp chí

2025-12-112025-12-112692020FROM THE CATEGORY OF “VALUE” IN CAPITAL TO THE CATEGORY OF “THE ABSTRACT” IN MARXIST PHILOSOPHY
https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/thvn/article/view/123857

Abstract: This article aims to identify the radical revolution carried out by Karl Marx (1818–1883) regarding the philosophical category of “the abstract,” through analysis of the category of “value” in Capital. It demonstrates that value, as abstraction, is a social essence existing objectively and independently in reality, though in an underdeveloped form. At the same time, this abstraction contains internal contradictions that serve as the driving force of its independent and complex development. Studying the category of “value” is key to understanding abstraction as an objective philosophical category whose full determination is achieved not in thought but in history, through its self-abstracting process as an independent entity. The main conclusion is that abstraction, as revealed by Marx via the category of “value,” is an objective product of concrete social relations, dynamic in nature, capable of self-development through contradictions, realizing its essence historically.

Keywords: abstraction, value, Capital, Karl Marx.
Nghiên cứu triết học Tạp chí

https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/thvn/article/view/123867

Abstract: This study analyzes and stages a dialogue among Epigenetics, Aristotle’s Metaphysics, and Ken Wilber’s Integral Philosophy to construct a “Philosophy of Living Nature”—a theoretical framework that is grounded in scientific evidence while encompassing humanistic and metaphysical dimensions. Epigenetics provides empirical data on how environment, behavior, and psychological states influence gene expression without altering the DNA sequence. Aristotle offers the four causes (material, formal, efficient, final) and the pair of concepts potentiality–actuality to explain life’s directedness. Ken Wilber develops the four-quadrant model (subjective–objective–individual–collective) and the principle of integral evolution to connect science, philosophy, and spirituality. The paper identifies zones of overlap (the plasticity of life, a pluralistic view of causation, and the linkage between science and the humanities) as well as differences (objects, methods, aims). At the same time, the author warns of the risk of misinterpretation if concepts are conflated, and proposes a three-pillar integrative framework employing a “conceptual dialogue” method to bridge scientific data and philosophical schemas. In reality, no single system can fully account for life; only careful integration can open a holistic vista that nourishes both knowledge and our humanity.

Keywords: Living Nature; Epigenetics; Metaphysics; Potentiality–Actuality; Ken Wilber; Telos.
Nghiên cứu triết học Tạp chí
