Ensuring the implement of right to defense of the accused in criminal proceedings

Abstract

The article presents a number of theoretical issues about the right to defense in criminal proceedings; obstacles and limitations in implementing this right under provisions of the criminal procedure law. Thereby, the authors make recommendations to ensure right to defense in criminal proceedings.
