HO CHI MINH CITY WITH POLICIES ON TRAINING, FOSTERING AND TREATMENT OF INTELLECTUALS

Abstract

Building and promoting the role of intellectuals to serve the goal of promoting national development has always been a concern of the Party and State. Many of the Party's policies and guidelines related to intellectuals have been put forth over the years and have been thoroughly grasped and effectively applied by localities. By using the method of document analysis combined with the method of comparison and synthesis, this study aims to clarify the policies of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee in training and fostering intellectuals, especially in the current period of national digital transformation. Research results show that the Party Committee and the Government of Ho Chi Minh City have continuously developed and improved policies on training, fostering and rewarding intellectuals, in order to maximize the contribution of the team to the development of the city and the whole country. This study contributes significantly to the goal of turning Ho Chi Minh City into a civilized and modern city, helping the whole country successfully achieve the goal of becoming a modern industrial country, on par with other countries in the region and the world.
