Abstract

Building and developing a quality culture in higher education institutions plays an important role, directly impacting the entire quality assurance system of each unit. Quality culture essentially consists of standards, values, and beliefs that are widely agreed upon and unified among all members of the organization to achieve quality. This study aims to assess the current state of quality culture development at School of Hospitality and Tourism – Hue University, determining the influence of factors that constitute quality culture at the institution through the collection of feedback from 101 staff members and employees. The results of factor analysis and regression modeling identified four factors influencing quality culture development, ranked in descending order as follows: i. Academic values; ii. Humanistic values; iii. Cultural values; iv. Environmental and infrastructural values. Based on these findings, the authors propose several solutions to further develop and enhance the quality culture of the institution in the near future.
